Yesterday, CENTCOM’s senior enlisted leader, Fleet Master Chief Lateef Compton, visited Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar and met Airmen and Guardians assigned to U.S. Space Forces Central. Space operations are critical to CENTCOM missions across the Middle East and Central Asia.

Last month, guided-missile destroyer USS McFaul (DDG74) passed through the Suez Canal while entering into the U.S. 5th Fleet Area of operations. McFaul is deployed to support maritime security and stability in the U.S. Central Command operating area.
