Congratulations to Kristina, an 8th grader @esaroyalknights, for earning 2nd place at the Georgia Chinese Language Educators’ Pen Calligraphy Competition on Sunday. Her poem entitled “Remembering Jiangnan” describes the advent of spring that she calls “a graceful time of year.”

On March 22, CCPS World Languages celebrated the more than 200 students who competed at the competition this year. It was a wonderful year of language and art, music, poetry, drama! We had superb work from K-12 students in Arabic, Chinese, Latin, French and Spanish. Kudos!

On Friday, March 10th, World Languages students competed in the 2023 World Languages Contest. They could compete in Poetry, Music, Art, Drama, Extemporaneous Speaking and Reading or a Vocabulary Bee. We had a wonderful turn-out and a great time @MiddleMorrow.

The French club @ScholarsElite celebrated the language and culture of the many countries which speak French with a parade of nations, music, poetry, recitations and a fashion show. Félicitations on a job well done, Ms. Pierre and étudiants!

River's Edge Elementary hosted a New Year celebration today complete with a Lion Dance demonstration and a parade. Students and staff loved the performance from the Chien Hong school of Kung Fu and even got to try out the costumes themselves!
