my friends im trying to locate a brush pack that i lost due to my ipad being wiped. i remember the pack was big and the first 20 brushes was just like a flat square brush at various sizes…. there were rake brushes and like a paint roller texture brush in there too

anyways really sad to be thinking this over after artists on here are leaving en masse because they don’t want their art to be fed to an energy hoarding machine that strips their creations of purpose and passion and reduces it just to aesthetic visuals

being 100% real i am the most artistically fulfilled rn and its because i stopped posting art and drew what i wanted, not what the algorithm wanted, and because i joined a dnd campaign where we are all equally insane about the characters we are making

I see a lot of artists crave to for their passions to be valued and understood, myself included. and it’s hard because social media just like, isn’t the place for it. atleast what its becoming now. I miss niche forums and old fandom spaces sometimes

a cathartic read but i fear that how social media atleast engages with art is usually though jokes and most successful it lends itself into becoming a joke.. I’m sure theres many visual artists who share mutual frustration that their most popular artwork is a quick joke sketch
