I have been saying this all along! Khaleesi should have been yelling "Where are my Wyverns!?"
It's not Dances With Dragons it's Walks with Wyverns!
I can't tell if I'm on a soapbox, yelling at clouds, or both.
Inb4 Don Quixote tells me what kind of windmill I'm fighting.

I always use these two graphs a lot when I have to identify what kind of classification of dragon it is.
There's quite a lot of them honestly (and I'm almost positive these two graphs don't cover all of them).
@cat_elg
Dragon: passenger jet size, magic in abundance, incredibly intelligent
Drakes: bus size, minor magic or just a breath weapon, about as intelligent as non-human apes
Wyverns: basically a horse sized bat with a scorpion tail
@cat_elg
Monster Hunter says "No fuck you, the four-limbed lizard and the unicorn are dragons, and the sword-tail Fire breathing Carnotaurus is a wyvern and so is Electric flip doggo"
@cat_elg
What about the dragons from Skyrim and Game of Thrones? Those are some of the most iconic dragons in modern media and they don't fit this definition. Dragons also vary a lot between cultures so claiming the European medieval fantasy design as the One True Dragon Anatomy is lame
@cat_elg
You're all wrong, dragons are a thematic element, not a taxonomic class.
This is the weirdest hill I will die on and I'll take you all with me.
