Well you know we couldn't pass up #NationalPeachDay! Being the only Pres born in the Peach State, the campaign embraced the sweet fruit in their marketing. The purse seen here is in our collection and reads, "Georgia loves Jimmy," with a big ol' peach painted right on the front!

St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, Patroness of the Sea Services, was the first American-born individual to be canonized by the Catholic Church. The Carters visited her shrine and tomb in Emmitsburg, MD on 7/6/78. You can still visit it today. #NationalMarylandDay #CartersAcrossAmerica
