Adding your name to a memorial already named in honor of a great man doesnāt make you a great man. Quite the contrary. Putting your name on top of someone elseās doesnāt mean that people will speak of you in the same breath as the other man. Putting your name above another manās

āMuch of the state money was intended to assist needy Floridians, including children. Instead, it paid for political consultants, lawyers and thousands of advertisements that helped DeSantis and his supporters win at the ballot box.ā https://t.co/t9eqAcDQfK

āThe state senators have been increasingly on edge in recent weeks as they endured intimidation ā political and physical ā and a stream of hoax police reports that seemed designed to draw large law enforcement responses to their homes.ā

Republicans hold a 40-10 advantage in the state senate but still rejected Trumpās pressure. āHoosiers are very independent.ā

The defeat of the Republican in the race, who was endorsed by President Donald Trump, gives added momentum to Democrats heading into the 2026 midterms.

Medical marijuana patients in Florida deserve the FREEDOM to home-grow cannabis without government interferenceā thatās why Iāve introduced SB 776. With rising prices, we can increase access and lower costs by supporting this long overdue proposal. https://t.co/NwvWuysobg

It's obvious that Alligator Alcatraz is a $450 million boondoggle for certain contractors. One #Florida senator, @CarlosGSmith, wants to restore transparency and limit how long a governor can keep a "state of emergency" to bypass procurement rules.

Itās just another day in Florida where a healthcare worker and U.S. citizen in medical scrubs is pulled out of her car and terrorized by masked ICE agents. We filed SB 316 to prohibit masked immigration actions and to require law enforcement be clearly identified.
Agents conducting immigration traffic stops in Key Largo Wednesday pulled this woman, who is wearing medical scrubs, from her car as she screamed she is a U.S. citizen. Agent cuffed her and put her in one of their cars. She was eventually let go. By David Goodhue/Miami Herald.
