Central East on top of section…for now. Host Bengals beat Clovis on Friday, 61-49, in matchup of top 2 ranked teams in CIF Central Section. Coaches fully expect to have to beat two top TRAC teams again in playoffs. @_CEBengalFball @paulmeadors @PAGMETER

Laguna Beach would be a small school in previous years of non competitive equity playoffs. Has enrollment about 1,000 less than Dana Hills and almost always these days has to step up in playing much larger schools. Dana Hills also was 8-0 coming into tonight’s game.
Coach of the year candidate John Shanahan of 9-0 @Laguna_Football all class talking about rival @FootballDHHS

End 3rd Central East 54 Clovis 28 Bengals have a loss to Grant of Sacramento but remember Grant is now D1 in Sac Joaquin Sec (same as Folsom) so Central Section D1 champ won’t be behind SJS D2 for NorCal regional games. It will also depend on Riordan in CCS.
