And while we are at it, if we are "marking" can we only mark based on curriculum expectations. Provide feedback on spelling, notation or formatting, but don't punish students accademically for elements not in the curriculum. #assessment #studentsuccess

When we think about the design of assessments, can we re-think multi-part questions that require students to get the correct answer in previous parts to complete the question at all. Or have a strategy to support students with demonstrating their understanding after an error.

Great session today from @DRABC14 for staff at @GLRobertsCVI and @EastdaleCVI. So much connected with the events of the day but my big takeaway is "Allow students to be so they can become." Time to consider how we intentionally create spaces to make that happen. @DDSBSchools
