lol. I was in right corner of that end zone. Saw Kermit make the cut at the 10. Saw the alley and started screaming ”He‘s Gone!”

I miss Gene’s voice on game day. When my son was a toddler, he and my husband walked by him on his way out of the bathroom one time and he looked down at my kid and told him, “Shoot straight, son”. My husband was so excited 😆

I was in my parents living room. My dad walked outside to pee in the yard (many beers have been consumed) I jump outta my chair as Kermit hits the sideline and my dad is screaming outside watching the game through the window. True story

Hell yeah!!! We were stationed at Fort Polk Louisiana during this game and our next door neighbors were HUGE Auburn fans - my kids were little and went to bed at half time so we were trying to be quiet - after jumping around the living room, I ran outside and cheered!

Watching the ESPN coaches room of this play later on. Addazio from BC was on.
Kermit hits the 25 and he says something to the effect of "goodbye" another coach (not sure who) says "no" Addazio "gone...guys a jet"
