Really pleased and proud of @JulianBell147 who will be refereeing his first ranking final today in a Saudi Arabia. It's fantastic to see him climb up the ranks and be given this great honour. What a game it'll be between @nr147 and @ronnieo147. Good luck to all of them.

You're the referee that I looked up to throughout my career. I couldn't have asked for a better person to be an Assessor with. What you and a few others taught me was invaluable and definitely helped me get to where I wanted to in the game. More importantly, you're a great friend

Absolutely gutted to hear of the passing of my friend Uriah Rennie. You were a true gentleman and good friend to me. Thoughts are with Uri's family at this very sad time 💔

Good luck to all the players and referees at this year's Snooker World Champs. There's no feeling like it walking down those steps into the arena. The best 17 days of sport of the year as far as I'm concerned.

Had a brilliant night at the @crucibletheatre last night watching the legends @SteveSnooker and @dennistaylor147 recreate the 1985 Black Ball final. Great entertainment and very funny. I suppose it wasn't bad catching up with @welshref either 😂
