Am I losing my love for video games? Infinite Wealth and Rebirth were my most anticipated, but they both felt good, not great. Felling a little sad tbh ๐Ÿ˜ข

@bremdog1 Have you finished Rebirth? Ive not yet and I found it underwhelming to start with compared to FF7 Remake, but itโ€™s seeming to pick up steam as it progresses. It does have a feeling of middle filler/padding which possibly isnโ€™t surprising as itโ€™s the 2nd of 3

@bremdog1 There are a few recent releases that left me under-whelmed as well but Dragon's Dogma 2 has corrected that.

@bremdog1 Are you in burnout? Some games I played felt greater later. Perhaps you'll like them later with fresh eyes.

@bremdog1 I always hear people losing their love for gaming and here I am, 26 years of gaming, still having a blast. I'm having so much fun with big titles, indie games and so on. To stop loving gaming would be like stopping liking films. Just impossible for me lol

@bremdog1 I thought this too till I went retro. So many amazing games from gens past I missed on. Todayโ€™s games just donโ€™t have that feel to them when I was younger. Ever since I got another PS3, Iโ€™m playing all the time now and loving it!

@bremdog1 Iโ€™ll speak from my own experience as a 35year old. I feel the same way when I look forward to play a new game. Unless I can fully commit to the game its not the same joyful experience as when I was younger. When I manage to really get time off and just enjoy the games for aโ€ฆ
