I’ve been tuning in and out throughout the night, but from what I’ve seen (pre-game show problems aside) NBC’s presentation tonight has been fantastic. Also: Jamal Crawford is really, really good at this. Very high ceiling for him.

My other thought: Micah Parsons is amazing and totally worth the price. Not that I ever doubted it.

Baseball is a lot more fun when it’s a nice summer day and the sun doesn’t set until 9:00 and the game is just one of 162 and the result doesn’t really matter that much.

That one stings because the chances were there. Stranding the bases loaded in the 8th hurt, but I keep coming back to Collins’ AB in the 7th. Immediately after Bauers’ HR he went up 3-0, took two & then struck out on a pitch that wasn’t close. Felt like a real momentum-killer.

I was actually thinking earlier about how today’s game reminded me of that game. A Monday night game and believe me, UWO South Scott Hall was ready to riot after that one.
