When do we reach the point where Nobody should be asked to work without access to a vaccine and regular rapid testing. I think we are close.

@bradwouters #COVID19Ontario ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ but not clear how we are even close to Access to a vaccine (not even think to be rational & follow the Labs schedule) Regular rapid testing when the public can't access & the ON medical community hasn't pushed for us to access Hope is the last you lose ๐Ÿ™„

@bradwouters It's a nice thought, but as someone still working in people's homes 40 hours a week unvaccinated. It's not going to happen because the business owners don't want it to happen and those are the only ones this Government really listens to. ๐Ÿ˜”

@bradwouters Once again, who will enforce it? Who will advocate for those that canโ€™t advocate for themselves? Thatโ€™s a privileged position to be in: to fight for injustice.

@bradwouters Not close at all, only 908,000 Canadians are vaccinated. Just under 9 million have had one dose so are still at increased risk of disease. The vaccine has been targeted to retired people and folks in specific areas of the workforce rather than the general workforce.

@bradwouters Imagine if academia had taken lead! How/why is it that health professions students sent into hospital/community clinical without prior #Covid rapid-test? How/why is it they aren't trained to be part of massive #COVID19Vaccine #CallToArms ? Failure of imagination & leadership.

@bradwouters As long as the companies that are still making the money donโ€™t have to use any of it for worker safety. That would be asking too much

@bradwouters Given the knowledge that COVID is airborne - Proper N95 grade masks and PPE. And when will the problematic employers be forced to limit capacity and deal with proper ventilation? Not one limitation on warehouses, food processing facilities, manufacturing.

@bradwouters You should also include having to work with many people without masks every day (elementary school teachers and staff).
