Thank you for sharing. It's very unfortunate that the investigators did not stick to their protocol, which had defined the primary endpoint as CSDH recurrence/progression within 90 days. When the original endpoint is analysed, the result is NOT significant (see 2 x 2 table).
More data favouring MMA embolisation presented at #ISC24 by Ying Mao - across 700+ patients in the MAGIC-MT study, MMA embo and surgery was superior to 'usual care' in symptomatic, non-acute #SDH, producing less haematoma recurrence/progression and death within 90 days #ISC2024
