Nigeria has peculiar problems and as someone who has had the privilege to hire at C-suite level, both in the labor force and at church, I can tell you that Christians need to be taught tenacity. They need to be taught that they are not special simply because God is their father.
Prayers will not get you hired if you are not competent. The Holy Spirit cannot bring to your remembrance what you have not read. (Even though you are quoting that scripture out of context by praying that prayer).
Even if favour gets you a seat at the table, you will need to be competent to keep it. I mean look at Joseph, supernaturally he knew the dream, but we are not told that he supernaturally knew the solution.
As an operations professional, I daresay it was years of allocating scarce resources in the prison that gave him the experience to get such a solution. So educate yourself. Pursue excellence with a tenacity that cannot be denied.
Itβs okay if you donβt want to. Personally, I donβt think itβs okay. But to each his own. But donβt judge those who do like they are carnal or you are more spiritual. Be complacent and lazy all by yourself. T for thanks.

There is a price for everything in life, and there are principles to follow. I used to tell myself, to add value to the company and also learn too. Even if I leave they should feel my impact.

Well said ma. Capacity development is important. Nothing grows through prayer alone. Funny thing is: God never used a lazy person to achieve tangible greatness. We must build ourselves, and refuse to be overly dependent on just prayers alone without putting the work in.
