A better alternative would be to buy Amazon Shopping vouchers on the Woohoo app at a 2% discount (via UPI). Or, buy Amazon Pay vouchers using cards with milestone benefits directly on the Amazon website or app. #CCGeeks #CreditCardHacks #CreditCardRewardPoints

While this makes sense for the Amex Gold Charge and Plat Charge cards with the 5x reward points advantage, the offer doesn’t look attractive for MRCC (2x) and Plat Travel (3x) cardmembers.

Amex has increased the convenience fee on Amazon Pay & Amazon Shopping Gift vouchers from 0.75% + GST to 1.5% + GST. This will be effective 25th July 2025. What this means is if you were paying INR 1008.80 at 0.75% fee, you’ll now pay INR 1017.70 for a 1k Amazon Pay gift voucher.
