CFP committee stuff here . . . not that the Bruins would have too many complaints with that bracket and staying in the West.
So after UCLA beat Oregon 75-56 and Purdue beat Rutgers 70-65, the Boilermakers bumped the Bruins off the No. 1 seed line.
Oregon and Rutgers are both bubble teams, so this is pretty nonsensical.

I am not going to pretend like it would be a major injustice if Vanderbilt doesn’t make the NCAA tournament because the numbers are what they are but that is a way better basketball team than a bunch of the at-larges who they already have in the field
