@bikeshare Out of curiosity how will the bikes get recharged when their low on juice? Should a rider report a bike that’s low by using the wrench button?

@danib62 We have teams of battery swappers that will change batteries in the field. Software will lock down bikes with low charges.

@maschweisguth eBikes are about 15 lbs heavier than a standard Cabi, mainly due to the battery and motor. The handling characteristics are similar, though you may enjoy the improved basket, grip bell, and infinity gearing! We hope you like it.

@bikeshare 18 DCMR §§ 1201.18 prohibits ebikes from the Potomac bridge sidewalks, also DC Code does not apply a comparative negligence standard in auto collisions with ebikes, please advocate for equity with pedal bikes and Class 1 & 2 ebikes in the DC Municipal Regs & Code

@bikeshare Hopefully you will put plenty of them in the Palisades. The hills there are hard to climb with a regular bike. W3BA is working on adding more bike lanes in Ward 3 and e-bikes would help that cause

@bikeshare Nice, I tried one and they have a good jump when you start pedaling.
