🗒️My DIY Genetics🧬 script has been updated (works with 23&me exports):. 🧬Grouping by Confidence: The script now groups SNPs into three lists (High, Medium, Low Confidence) based on the rating. 🧬HTML Report:. A new explanation section is added at the top

Happy Saturday Twitter/X/Whatever - I've updated my 🧬Neanderthal Gene checker to check and report on 119 SNPs (also added a few known Denisovan SNPs as well). Works with exported 23&me data and should also work with AncestryDNA exports but I do not have a sample for testing. 🐍

Python script has now been updated to check for just over 39 neanderthal genes. Adding more as I dig through additional studies.

Hey internet - help me do some science! 🧪 . Please respond if you have autoimmune issues, connective tissue issues, or are neurodivergent. Did your 23&me results indicate you have quite a bit more Neanderthal DNA than the average person? I'm willing to bet the answer is yes 🫣.
