Satnam Singh was an Indian farm worker. He lost his arm in an accident at work on Monday. Instead of getting immediate help, he was left on the road. Satnam died today. Anger at a tragic and avoidable death, result of the exploitative conditions still faced by many farm workers.
Una notizia che fino all’ultimo speravamo non giungesse. Una morte assurda, maturata in un contesto abominevole di sfruttamento e totale mancanza di umanità e rispetto per la vita @CgilRomaelazio

Happy to have the opportunity to present new @ETUI_org work on platform work across countries, jointly with @biancalunaf. We show systematic variation across countries, with social security and lower dualization associated with less platform work, particularly for the vulnerable
In the first session of the WeLaR conference @fgrimm12 (@LISERinLUX), Siegfried Manschein (@EUI_EU), Ursula Holtgrewe (@ZSInnovation), and @WZwysen (@ETUI_org) presented their research on the impact of AI and platform work on European workers, jobs and industrial relations.

Youth poverty remains a consistent challenge in the #EU 🪙 Minimum income schemes stand out as crucial social assistance benefits, but in several cases, young adults are either ineligible for MIS or subject to stringent conditions 🔎 This new brief offers a comparative analysis
