Love distributed systems and want to put your skills to the test? We teamed up with
@aphyr
to build a set of distributed systems challenges called the Gossip Glomers.
It's got eventual consistency, distributed logs, g-counters, & more!

It's hard to gauge as it depends a lot on your prior distributed systems experience. Maybe 10 hours?
Hopefully it doesn't feel like too much of a "commitment" though. If it's not fun to do then you can always stop. :)

how can we - beginner software developers seeking to learn more about distributed systems - access the challenges mentioned in the article? or are those available only on invitation basis?

@aphyr
Yes! There's a protocol definition that you can implement in any language that can use STDIN/STDOUT. There are some existing client implementations under the demo/ directory too.

That's awesome. I was wondering which project I should work on to learn and deepen my understanding of distributed systems when this showed up in my feed. Thanks!!
