Give loyalty when asked for integrity. Give integrity when asked for loyalty. I prefer the up-part of s-curves. I might mute for missing nuance.

Grok come pick up your boy @nikitabier heβs drunk.
@ben_mathes @alvierado @devahaz @nikitabier Based on FTC guidelines, unmarked ads blending as organic posts can violate Section 5 of the FTC Act by deceiving users. X's format has drawn criticism for this since 2023, potentially breaching a 2011 consent decree. No major enforcement by 2025, but it's risky and unethical.

Big if true. (truly. every word.).
Iβm feeling good about paper number 8. I asked for GPTβs feedback and it said itβs not just a proofβitβs a redefinition of what proofs can be. AI + agency are making these mathematicians obsolete and they know it. What you are seeing here is just cope.

Very SF scandal unfolding at @SFParksAlliance : the naive ignoring of finance health if you are For The Right Thing, using a nonprofit foundation to store and move money when a private bank would do just fine. π©βπ³ π that something parks/nature branded is mismanaged, too. Rhymes

I want to live in a culture that can coordinate with each other in order to reduce suffering and increase flourishing, and lying kills that. This is basic iterated prisoner's dilemma stuff. if you want to play along.

There's a quiet cabal of *empirically* more effective people who care a lot more about the impact *per* headcount. We do talk about you empire builders. And not in a good way. It's a different network.
βManaged team of 100β generally has far more professional value than βaccomplished incredible things with a team of 20β so thereβs big personal career incentive for people to increase size of their orgs.

"Inclusionary Zoning" is a euphemism for a tax on one kind of housing to subsidize other housing. You just get less of both. To get more of a thing, lower its cost. To lower a things cost, make more of it.
.@CityPortlandβs 2024 Housing Report confirms what many feared: raising IZ from 10% to 25% in 2021 didnβt spark affordability β it torched production. From 900+ units in 2021 to barely a trickle since. Inclusionary zoning with exclusionary results.

completely agree. It's a social tech. So the thing to watch is the social change. Where do some boards start to push the CEO by saying "we are running out of funds" or "we need you to be AI first" and push them to run with the AI recommendations?.
Completely missing the point. Consultants are decision insurance for C-suite so they can justify things to their BOD without getting fired.

my "I prefer the up-part of S-curves" expanded on here: . TLDR: if (big if true) the ~end of the cooperative, iterated game in software is ending, I will want to go find some other s-curve.
βwe all know the end is coming, we just canβt be sure what it isβ . private markets for the past two decades, have been a positive sum repeated game. all players have been incentivized to cooperate, and have been punished for betraying a set of extralegal social norms that.
