Today is the pub date for my book, "The Op-Ed Novel"!. The book tells the story of how five Spanish novelists changed contemporary fiction through their opinion columns. It's about how literature and politics, and fiction and nonfiction, blend together.

I truly hope Amenábar consulted with my graduate school mentor María Antonia Garcés (@Cornell) for this project. She is the scholar who *literally* wrote *the* book on this topic for @VanderbiltUP and won *the* @MLAnews book prize for it in 2003.
