I made a post about how using my hd helped me with finding and winning a short film competition. And the thing is...I would've neverrrr thought to enter a competition bc even though I've made short films, I didn't think of me making short films being something I wanted to do fr.

I'm a writer and an actor, but I thought of my short films as a hobby/way to advertise my book. But through purely being open to what made me excited, I was led to experience how making the short film excited me. When I tell you I've never felt that aligned...

It was like a spiritual experience for me. Even though I've made short films before and after 'moon square saturn', none felt as "right" as that one did. It was like a part of me lit up when I made it. And I didn't let my mental idea I had for myself block what my body

wanted me to do. Another thing is all of my short films are similar in that I use my reflection as the main focal point...except moon square saturn. The composition for that film was totally different because I was leading by what excited me about the film I was making.

that resulted in a product I was happy with and a winning film. another thing that helps is grounding and allowing yourself to sit still with time. we are so often consumed with what's next, that we can't feel the now. feeling the now ensures you don't miss your excitement.
