As an astronaut, I get to do some pretty cool things. Bedtime stories from the @Space_Station are one of them! A video of me reading Goodnight Moon will air during a 75th anniversary celebration of the book today at 7pm ET: https://t.co/o9TZt7cUFM

Before Crew-4 had arrived at @Space_Station, I camped out in the EVA airlock with my blue sleeping bag on the ceiling!

Carrying SoFIE (Solid Fuel Ignition and Extinction) for installation in the Lab. SoFIE is a remarkable facility to study flame spread and solid material properties in 0-g, important for improving fire safety both in spacecraft and on Earth.

The Cupola on the @Space_Station provides the broadest view of Earth ever provided from a spacecraft. A chance to spend some time there is a rare and precious opportunity.

How do humans perceive up and down? And can we create our own up and down in space? We tried that by “rock-climbing” across a couple of modules one evening.

Mali’s triangular Lake Faguibine and the Niger River Basin always catches our eye from space. Resembling a surrealist work of art, it is also a stark symbol of the continued drying of the region.

Air bubbles in a spaceship’s water supply can clog up the system. This method of removing them turned out to be quite fun!

Canada’s Dextre gave us a friendly good morning wave just outside our window this past Friday, passing by as it continues to maintain and inspect the outside of our home.

Was surprised to see our new neighbor, the STP-H8 antenna, glittering and spinning just outside our window. Using microwave sensors, this antenna collects data from the air-sea interface to improve weather prediction
