It’s sadly a very divisive topic, but thankfully the discussion has generally been pretty reasonable on this despite big differences of opinion.
However, if you say you hope the team lose because he isn’t playing, that makes you an Ozil fan, not an Arsenal fan.
@arseblognews
Surely if Arsenal subsidised his wages and found him a club willing to offer first team football he would go? This is just his agents way of making clear he won’t under any circumstances take a pay cut.
@arseblognews
I recently had a Twitter spat with a guy and when I asked about Ozil’s lack of end product he told me to remember the goals against Ludogrets 🤣🤣
@arseblognews
He must realise he is never going to figure in Mikel’s set up, he is all about the money. He held Arsene and Arsenal to ransom and has basically emptied the coffers since.He has taken money under false pretences ever since.
@arseblognews
Come on everyone, we’re gooners!!!!
Ozil was truly ethereal, and he has been my favourite to watch.
It’s sad that he doesn’t feel the motivation to perform, and that’s killing The Arsenal.
Wish he found it within him to give us 12 amazing months to remember him by
@arseblognews
There is more nuance to this but he clearly isn't part of arteta's plans, and the fact he is happy not to play for another year shows you in itself he is probably not the fierce competitor Arteta wants (to mould)...we're stuck with him
@arseblognews
I was a huge Ozil fan. Even last year I always felt it was emery who was the bad guy. But this year, I have lost alot of respect for this guy. With his talents, I wouldn't be satisfied with money itself. He doesn't have that hunger to play and compete. That's unacceptable.
@arseblognews
He didn't want to take a pay cut & doesn't want to move clubs to pursue more play time. Its clear that he doesn't have arsenal's best interests at heart and anyone who argues otherwise is just a contrarian
@arseblognews
I don’t know if you can see but he has an arrogance about not willing to improve is performance - that lazy attitude. I would tell he’s not part of the process anymore and if is unwilling to leave don’t bother selecting. Feel like he is creating this toxic environment for others
@arseblognews
What annoys me most is that although the majority can see until he’s moved on he’s dragging us down, handicapping us witt new signings and new contracts for existing players, some try to compare this pathetic excuse with real club legends and real professionals.
@arseblognews
Without knowing what’s going on we are all guessing who is to blame.
It’s a sad situation and he’s a massive talent that’s wasting his career.
