On the left, Flat Earth Flight Path from Chicago to Dubai. On the right Globe Earth Flight Path from Chicago to Dubai. Why does the flight have to go north through Greenland and then south-east to Dubai when there’s a straight path through North Africa and then Middle East?

@ankhmriimn I wish people were smarter, man. NONE of this means what you think it means. You can LITERALLY GOOGLE why. Airlines do this based on DEMAND for flights to and from certain locations. NOT because the earth is flat.
