i don’t wanna hear people saying shit about hopper not grieving when he’s literally on the verge of tears. he didn’t move on too fast like many of you are saying. he still has to deal with the loss but he now has a support system to help him through it unlike his loss of sara.

i am of devastated by el but i don’t think hopper’s reaction 18 months later was out of character. he grew a ton over the last 5 years & has a huge support system now through joyce & the other kids. he of course is still hurting from the loss, but he’s not letting it consume him.

Do people not understand what they’re watching anymore? It wasn’t that Hopper moved on easily after El, he just accepted her choice and decided not to ruin his life again like after Sara - he chose a different road this time like he told Mike.

The fact that THE Joyce Byers and THE Chief Hopper get to spend their lives together forever. I can't even convey how happy it makes me ♥️ (tho I have a lot of things I don't like and I'm left unsatisfied with this season, including for jopper. But let's take the wins tonight)
