It’s equally sad and terrifying seeing so many women in the quotes and comments recounting their own experiences of violence from their own brothers. My God 💔💔💔 you cannot deny people’s lived experiences. You just can’t.

This is INSANE + the second story I’ve seen today about a woman being killed by her younger brother. There’s something to unpack about the uptake of male violence towards their female siblings + yes, yes I do believe it’s the red pill content they’re watching

@angieceelouis Ppl hopping on us as we share bc they blv us saying it's been this way for generations took from the point. I get the tnl vision on present-day, but I wish they understood what it means when we say teen boys simply had no over-arching visibility back then.

@angieceelouis Extremely sad, disturbing. Where are the parents? Afraid? My mom was, up until her death in April. My brother has been a terror & bully all his life. I don't deal with him, he's evil & violent. After settling our mom's affairs, I blocked his number & moved to another state.

@angieceelouis Making a boy think he's the "man" of the family as a boy creates a very hostile environment because the child will never feel like a child. Children are led to make too many adult-like decisions instead of staying in a child's place.

@angieceelouis On a related note, I’ve seen a lot of tweets from women who have brothers who would literally eat up all the food in the house before anyone else could eat and the EDs that resulted from having to eat their food like they’re a Dyson vacuum before their brothers ate it all.
