@ElizabethIvens I appreciate my picture is available through getty and on file as a "turkey farmer" but I'm disappointed you chose to use it when I, my farm and my birds are nothing to do with the vaccine trial. Would it be possible to swap the image @NFUPress

I’m not into cars but as a kid I thought these were way cool. The car belonged to my customers dad, his dad sold it years ago then he found it for sale online and bought it back.

Busy day in the butchery but had lunch (a wonky steak) whilst watching a rather fine webinar from @TheTreeCouncil on growing trees from seed by Jon Stokes. Very practical, really engaging, highly recommended.

To use the parlance of 21st century cattle geeks, my new bull Leafield Yeti is an absolute Unit. Short legs, deep body and soooo long in the loin! #bulls #beef

Solar panels on the butchery went up and on today! 10.6kw of panels plus a 23kwh battery. Conservative estimate is that it will provide 60% of all our electrical power for the farm inc. the big ticket beef fridges and well pumps. Hoping to get an offset tariff asap #solar

Cows still on bales. Was hoping to go to all grass from today but a grass walk made me loose my bottle! Going to invest 8 bales into this field and review in a week. If these temperatures hold up I’ll be in business and I’ll be back in shorts. #grazing #beef #pasturedorlife
