A 20 car expedition from the Netherlands just called it quits. I think we'll do the same. This is the second time I tried to get here in the winter and failed. Third time's the charm.

Made it to Nordkapp. Well, almost. This is Honningsvag, 30 km from our destination. The road ahead is closed with winds up to 60 km/h, sweeping us off our feet and rocking the 3 ton truck like a toy.

We made it to the Arctic Circle! This was the easy part. From here on we have 600 km of endless snow and icy roads towards Nordkapp, the northernmost point in Europe. Right now some roads are closed due to wind and avalanche risks but hopefully they'll be open when we get there!
