Cuomo's comments about how renters vs homeowners contribute to communities (arguing you're only ~really~ invested in community when you own a home) are some of the most off-putting comments I recall an elected official making in recent memory. Two thirds of the city is renters!.

Removing safety improvements on Bedford Ave reverts the street back to a design that is inherently unsafe — and the inevitable outcome is that someone will be hurt or killed. When that happens, @NYCMayor will be to blame. Great story by @SophLebo .
