Disability Pay Gap Day marks the day when the average disabled employee stops getting paid compared to the average non-disabled employee. In the civil service the disability pay gap stands at 8%. Whilst the FDA applauds the civil service for choosing to publish their Disability
Would you work a day without pay? How about 49 days? That's how many days disabled people will work without pay this year. It's time the government introduced mandatory disability pay gap reporting and action plans to end the #disabilitypaygap.

Our evidence to this @CommonsPAC report showed court backlogs are a major barrier our members face when prosecuting RASSO, with 92% of our members agreeing that backlogs inhibit the prosecution of RASSO. On average, RASSO prosecutions are taking over 2 years to come to trial.

In her speech Leila reflected on the experiences of Dame Alix Kilroy, one of only two women who passed the Administrative Class examination in 1925, the first year women sat the exam. She became the first woman Chair of the @FDA_union in 1944 #WiL24
