I am unsympathetic. Far too many people voted for Brexit without bothering to educate themselves about such entirely predictable consequences.
No doubt some will be unsympathetic, but he's right to say that voters were given the impression that, whilst Brexit was a huge and necessary change, most things would pretty much carry on as before, and certainly that there would be no inconveniences:
