Had a call with a devrel this morning. They spent $100k on a hackathon for Devcon. 80 devs participated. A few months after Bangkok, only 2 are still active in their ecosystem 🥶

If the person is truly random and has no context, then yes -> zero ROI. But when the brief is actually clear, it’s different. If you tell someone: > who your ICP is > which ecosystems/verticals you want to be in > what kind of conversations matter > what “a good lead” looks
What does “sponsor my travel in exchange of representing the company at a conference” mean? What do you, as a founder/employee gain by sponsoring someone random who has no context? What is the roi in that?

Quitting just resets the clock. People underestimate how much success is just staying in the game long enough for the odds to flip. You don’t get lucky right away, you earn the right to get lucky by doing it 1000 times when no one’s watching. Discipline is what keeps you going
it will take 1,000 cold dms to get 1 reply that changes your career. it will take 500 posts before your followers come in. it will take 3 pivots before you find product-market fit. it will take 10 hires before you hire a gem. it will take 50 failed launches before one

I've been spending a lot of time learning about ERC-8004 lately and I’m so excited about what it could unlock for the space. Can’t wait to see how seamless agent coordination will look. Any resources or accounts to recommend diving deeper with?
