A #SparetheAir Alert has been extended from today, Jan. 15, through Saturday, Jan. 17! It is illegal for Bay Area residents and businesses to burn wood or manufactured firelogs in fireplaces, woodstoves & inserts, pellet stoves, outdoor fire pits, or other wood burning devices.

The Air District has fined MRC for failing to meet requirements under the Refining Emissions Tracking Rule at its Martinez refinery. They must now provide significantly enhanced public access to fenceline air monitoring data and submit reporting for transparency & accountability.
