Frank yesterday, on "crazy" Tottenham vs Chelsea fixtures in the past: "We are in the entertainment business, aren't we?" Are we? Not tonight, nor for much of this season. Turgid tactics, brainless player decisions, insipid attitude, only Vicario preventing a hiding. Horrrorshow.

Might as well've waltzed the ball into our own net for Chelsea. Another trudge of a first half, barely testing Sanchez until stoppage-time but for a bit of dolly-drop unchallenged catching practice. They're of course heavily covering Kudus. We don't offer much else. So far. #COYS

Three at the back including Paulhinha? Bergvall forward more in place of Simons, all-action as presumably he'll be especially for a derby if with reckless risks? Red card-happy Chelsea instead the beneficiary of such here yet again? Hm. Chew nails, twiddle thumbs etc etc... #COYS

Ah, play, Bryon Butler: "Maradona, turns like a little eel, he comes away from trouble - comes inside Butcher, leaves him for dead. Outside Fenwick, leaves him for dead and puts the ball away and that is why Maradona is the greatest player in the world..."

Well, it was 65 years ago today, the second greatest player of all time was born (pictured here, right, with the only footballer finer...) https://t.co/DyJLu7XWIE

Hm, Joao Paulhinha filling in at centre-back went well in the last League Cup round including that overhead goal opener, although a difference between Doncaster and Newcastle (116 miles?). Ah, we beat them 4-0 en route to the final a decade ago. Here's hoping no "No salad". #COYS

Rest in probably seldom peace, Jerry Lee Lewis, three years ago today. Amid everything, glad to see him shake a leg at a piano at least on his last London date in 2015 (cf. https://t.co/aOj3QGouur) - and rock'n'roll doesn't get much fiercer than this... https://t.co/Usjk6xxPa6

Prunella Scales' most famous fictional role might have involved the fractious marriage between Basil and Sybil Fawlty - but her real-life romance with husband Timothy West made her all the more beloved...
