I can't fucking stand when people tell me my vaccinations are the reason for my autism.
That myth has been debunked so hard.
But even if it was true, do they think being like me is so bad that they'd risk their own or their children's health to avoid it? Apparently so.
@adalind_gray
I may be biased as i’m sure i’m on the spectrum, but in my experience autistic people are just better people in general. If vaccines cause autism, then good!
@adalind_gray
If only we could find the root of what makes them believe such false information like that about vaccines. You’re right it’s so debunked and such a strange conspiracy for them to hang on to
@adalind_gray
Pretty sure it's genetically heritable so unless you're living a few years in Chernobyl the odds of anything external like vaccines causing it is pretty much nil. The hyperfocusing is great when it's under control but that's the hard part for me.
@adalind_gray
For me I can tell when its holding me back on important stuff, especially motor and attention skills like driving. I'm not really ashamed of my disabilities most of the time until I come agaisnt those barriers, and I know some definitely have it worse. I get what you mean
@adalind_gray
Hi Miss adalind_gray,
I agree with you. I was diagnosed with high functioning autism when I was 50. I'm 63 years old now. You are a very beautiful woman with a beautiful smile and body.
