While GENERALLY this is a correct statement past patches suggest that (again) this will be what we think it will be - give it a fair chance but dont expect anything is where im at with strive (which is way more then it deserves at this point imo)
To the people who have been dooming over seeing 10% of the patch, get your mental state checked your emotions are far too easily influenced.

DLC and EVEN MORE Guest Characters are mostly (90%+) bad and all fighting games would be overall better without them. The only benefit they create is buzz/reason for studios to continue support a game with the season pass/DLC monetization structure.
