Embarked on small project in recent days prompted by an effort to tidy garage to accept some belongings. Had a spray booth since early 2021 (Still packed); only managed fleeting airbrush work in early 2024. Time to commission the spray booth, thus an exhaust vent is required 1/n

So, here's what the concept looks like. Material will be 7mm plywood (sufficient at hand). - Plug panel with slot - Retainer plate with (captive ?) M6 knurled knob (Qty 4) secured via M6 inserts into the panel

I've a sliding window (with flyscreen) adjacent to work area. Made some sketches, measurements to proof a 'exhaust vent plug' from cardboard to ensure the concept (fit & operation) will work first. 2/n
