PCS IS MORE THAN ARTISTRY OMG HOW MANY TIME WE NEED TO EXPLAIN. SKATING SKILLS, TRANSITIONS, COMPOSITIONS ARE ALSO TECHNICAL!!! IF THEY HAVE FLAT EDGES, SLOW ASS WITH BILLION CROSSOVERS, THEY DONT HAVE ANY RIGHT TO GET 9!!!

facts, also great skating isn't about picking Artistry or Jumps, but doing both. if you loved watching this, you might also like this Yuzuru program, where he does cool quads AND cool spins AND one of the most difficult step sequences in men's skating! https://t.co/MR5r4qo0lq
a reminder to new figure skating fans that good artistry and skating skills doesn’t mean “looking like a swan” or “having a classical style” because this is a perfect example where spectacular artistry and SS can be seen without having to look classical

This is why he never wants to go back to competitions and doesn’t want to watch or comment on anything related to current figure skating anymore. Listen, I miss those days. I still like watching his old competition videos, but I also understand his feelings. 💔🔪

Mikhail Shaidorov: “Some years were very hard – we didn’t have enough money. My dad sold his car to fund my trainings and Alexei Urmanov coached me for free, without a salary, purely out of enthusiasm.” https://t.co/nXLuOEx9ix Click the link to read the full translation⛸

After the 2020 JNat SP, Yuzu had to accept that “invalid” call on his spin. Many casual viewers may not realize the targeting he faced at home in Japan was, at times, even worse than abroad. He was repeatedly under-scored without clear justification. 💔 #羽生結弦 #YuzuruHanyu𓃵

Imagine the GOAT of the sport saying he hates it. That alone says everything about figure skating... and how little it deserved him

I just think every new fandom that comes out of mcyt thinking they're better than dsmp fails to understand and empathize why it happens in the first place

a cc could Literally COMMAND viewers to trend Something and then it would trend. i literally would Not Know what to do with that amount of leverage it was wild
Remember when dsmp was on the trending tab every single day to the point where they had a dedicated employee for writing the descriptions

Lowkey js some opinion on how some people react to this post
MCYT fandom is so unbelievably cooked considering how much of it is held up by the thin fucking ice tightrope boundary between what is a "duo" and what is a "ship", and the fact that so many fandoms are obsessed with both of these to an unhealthy degree

Tbh when you watch a lot of the ET girls you'll notice how so many were stronger when they were younger before ET breaks their bodies or Dani G uninspired choreo sucks the life out of them. Adeliya used to skate much faster & her jumps had some pop to them.

She skated this only once; with broken, busted up boots, beginning of the season, at a senior B. The program was also super new because she didn’t get started on her free until very late in the summer. And Kevin’s Judas isn’t even good. 😭
Funny this pops up because me and moot were discussing how this program highlights how Alysa's lack of speed and inability to hit beats makes fast-paced Gaga-esque pop incompatible with her skating style Look at Kaymoz's Judas for Gaga on ice done right https://t.co/859GNJ4EyL

i think to understand yuna's skating, you have to understand how extremely lonely she was during her career
