This is totally crazy! The @GOWIN_SEMI GW1NR9 on the @SipeedIO Tang9k is able, with timing closure!!, to do 672Mbit/sec with my passive resistor MIPI D-PHY and own MIPI core. The Raspberry Pi4 sucessfully decode the send MIPI CSI2 stream over a 0.3m FPC cable. A 15$ FPGA board🤯

Cool! The upcoming Raspberry Pi 5 has 2 MIPI camera connectors! This makes it suitable for #StereoNinja 🤩 Plus it supports 4 MIPI lanes (per camera) and has a better GPU. So maybe we can get more fps and a lower latency with it! https://t.co/G7OmpAK1IK

The #matchboxscope team/@beniroquai found a relatively cheap voicecoil motor they use for a DIY autofocus. It has a thread for M12 lenses, so it would perfectly fit our StereoNinja design 🤩 Would need more wires going to the cam head though🤔 https://t.co/Woy1cmaTKS
