@_nirajshah What happens after the lockdown? Economic costs of continuing the lockdown post 14 April can be very high. When ever the lockdown is lifted the cases will spike within 7-14 days. The containment strategy is not a feasible strategy unless we have a solid plan. #Covid_19india

@_nirajshah How is that possible? We have been in this only for 10-12 days. Most of the cases are ppl who got infected before the lock down.Any slowdown in number of cases will be visible after the down is over in my humble opinion.

@_nirajshah Niraj ji lockdown is a global phenomenon. It's not unique for india.. Italy/spain in lockdown much before India. What is unique for India is "Unplanned Lockdown"

@_nirajshah All the cases we are getting now is of transmission before the lockdown began 10 days into the lockdown, and with only 4 days of incubation period (14 days) total, we will find the actual effect of lockdown in next 4 days Heard this from a doctor in times now I'm not an expert!!

@_nirajshah With Due Respect Dr. Devi Shetty must focus on Cardiac domain. This is Epidemiologist domain. Mainly causing Pneumonia & Lungs Related diseases. Let him be out of it. Also 10 days is too early to conclude anything.

@_nirajshah That should also mean the higher the death toll the greater the effectiveness of lockdown , in absolute terms. How ironic right
