After already building a billion dollar company, @bdistel chose to start again. He previously built Yext and now he’s building @trywindmill. We talked to the Windmill team last week, in front of their Times Square billboard, and asked Brian what feels different this time around.

innovation in performance review process is likely welcome by all…! congrats on the launch @bdistel and team! 💥
We created AI that generates real-time lifelike video and drives cars autonomously. And yet, for decades, performance reviews have remained the most dreaded, manual, soul-sucking ritual in modern work. Until today. I’m incredibly proud (and honestly a little emotional) to

A few people on my team thought the 8.6 was too high. Here it is failing to assign an SLA on an item. My 8.6 stands but your results may vary.

And that's a wrap. Overall an awesome experience. I give it an 8.6. Overall the features they support work well. Not surprising given their attention to detail. I will use this feature every day primarily to turn threads into issues.

Help Center: Most agents have a sub-agent where it can do some RAG on the help site. Linear has this and it seems to work well.

Reminders: I'd love for Linear to remind me of open issues every morning but they don't have that capability.

Let's see if it can do some textual analysis and identify trends. Overall pretty good.
