As a mother to another mother... Granted, stealing the shoes was completely wrong, but you can tell it is a desperate need, especially if you have an ample supply for your child. Personally, I would let it go.

Let me reiterate my statement where I said that EYE personally would have let it go because of her desperate need to provide shoes for her child. It is obviously still wrong.

stealing a literal child's belongings should not get a free pass. why put someone else's kid's needs above your own kids. it's cool that you would personally let it go, but you have to understand you can only let it go so many times. they'll come back and keep taking from you-
