There's no such thing as a perfect doctrine that is powerless. Perfect doctrine doesn't come by chance. It is revealed by the great teacher, the Holy Spirit. Perfect doctrine is the power of God unto salvation. That shouldn't be described as powerless.
A word for teachers. The way man is designed by God is that he is result oriented. He will take a ministry that has partially good doctrine with power rather than one with a "perfec"t doctrine that is powerless. If you truly want people to accept your "perfect" doctrine, seek

Regarding your Abigail example, she clearly wasn't submissive to her foolish husband. He gave a standing order that she was clearly aware of and chose to do the wise thing. She didn't even consult with him until they were out of the woods. She was submissive to her own wisdom.

The fact that the false interpretation of Song of Songs as a reference to Jesus' relationship with the Church is popularly held doesn't make it remotely true. You're overstretching the meaning of the text beyond the context of its author. It's a love poem. Nothing more than that.
