I’ve learned that design isn’t just about visuals, it’s about clarity, connection, and courage. The same courage it takes to start again when things don’t go as planned.

When I look back, every month has been like a design project filled with rough sketches, unexpected feedback, and a few “back to the drawing board” moments. But that’s where the beauty lies… in the process.

November is another blank canvas. Let’s design it with purpose, one pixel, one idea, one bold move at a time. 🎨✨ Happy new month, fam 💛 I’m walking into this month with one mindset - 'intentional growth'

I pour that same commitment into making sure their vision comes alive no matter how challenging it gets. Because I’ve learned something powerful along the way: It’s not the tool that makes the designer. It’s the heart. The grit. The will to create, even when life says you can’t.

Every line, every color, every layout became a reminder that you can start again even when you’ve lost everything. That season shaped me. It taught me resilience the hard way. Now, whenever I take on a client project, I carry that same fire.

The first few attempts were frustrating, the screen was tiny, the tools were limited, and my confidence was low. But giving up wasn’t an option. So, I kept going. One design after another. And slowly, I started creating pieces that even surprised me.

A smartphone design course I took a year before. I had no recordings, just some notes I jotted. So I decided to try it out. I picked up my phone, watched a couple of YouTube videos to refresh my memory. Then I opened a blank canvas and started creating.

I remember sitting there feeling like everything I’d worked for had just crumbled. No clients. No money. No tools. Just me and a dream that suddenly felt too heavy to carry. But in that silence, I remembered something.

There was a time life hit me so hard, I almost stopped creating. My laptop (my only tool for design) got bad. I was broke. Not the “I’ll fix it next week” kind of broke. The kind that makes your heart sink because you don’t even know where to start from. Ps. My 📱designs 👇

A year ago, I designed this ad for a food brand ( Spicey ) focused on speed, comfort & craving appeal. Still proud of how clean it communicates the idea.

I developed a course that empowers aspiring designers who may not have the standard resources or tools to create remarkable designs with just their mobile phones. It’s incredibly fulfilling to see their growth and ... 3/4

I dive deep into each client’s unique story, values, and market landscape, ensuring that the designs I create are not just beautiful but also impactful. Beyond design, I mentor and teach creatives how to grow beyond their limits. 2/4

Because design, at its core, is empathy made visible. And every colour, every line, every word is a conversation with someone’s emotion.

“Does this brand understand what I care about?” That’s where great design happens, in that invisible space between what we create and how someone feels when they experience it.

what makes them pause. But here’s what I’ve truly learned: People don’t just want to see beautiful things, they want to feel seen through them. When someone interacts with a brand, they’re quietly asking : “Does this speak to me?” “Do I belong here?”

What Design Has Taught Me About People. The more I design, the more I realize it’s never really about pixels, colours, or layouts. It’s about people. Every design project is a window into human behaviour; what makes people trust you, what draws their attention,
