So, if gravity isn't a thing, why restart the engines after this demonstration of centrifugal force? Shouldn't the plane stay aloft without the aid of the engines, you know, because gravity doesn't exist?

In theory... a planet spinning at high speed would throw people and water into outer space because of Centrifugal force - as demonstrated by this pilot. Secondly, the vacuum of space would suck the atmosphere away from the planet.
So it's a ridiculous theory.

I've proven gravity in a lab. But if you need an explanation. During a barrel role you experience positive (downward to your frame of reference) forces typically greater than 1g due to uniform circular motion laws. V=sqrt(A*R)

We used to do the same tying a cup to a rope and "quickly" swinging it 360 vertically. So I get the centrifugal force, but isnt the rotation too slow here to cause the required force? What am i missing?
