With blessings from her dear and loving family: I am devastated to say that our dear friend, community leader, mentor, family member, & renowned disability activist, @Tinu Atinuki Abayomi-Paul passed away at home on Thursday morning. She is finally at rest and without pain.

One of the kindest folks I've met through online spaces, KS is someone who looks out for others and "cheres" care whenever possible. I hope we can bring her some now. It's needed.

Really resent the fact that I have to pay $25 a month to a service to delete my entire address history and biographical information from hundreds upon hundreds of data broker websites because we have a dogshit government that doesn’t regulate anything.

so often the disabled or ill or elderly family member that passes was actually contributing far more than anyone realized - whether that be financially or in unpaid labor of any kind. so often - they are the glue. they leave massive gaps in our lives when gone. mutual aid helps.

although I wish we could get people that are still alive and struggling funded more often and more efficiently - please don't forget how important it is to these families to provide some help after their loss. please don't fail to see the importance in that work as well

mutual aid not only saves lives - but it continues to honor our lives after we are gone.

i just feel so numb a soft and tender part of me died with Tinu but it took me a year to see that.
