Hard same. One thing I can promise about Ultimate X-Men, not a single thing was done with a business perspective in mind. Marvel never once asked us to change a single word or line. I am forever grateful for the trust they gave us to tell the story as it needed to be told.
The thread I posted is a great place to vent so please feel free to keep doing so, but for the record I am a writer, not a business person. I really don't think much about sales. They are not important to me outside of allowing me to make more ambitious comics.

This is true. Since Ultimate X-Men started, we always knew we were driving towards 24 issues. That was the plan since the first issue.

John was ending his run at 24, that was always the case. He was done. Peach and Bryan were both ending their stories when the Maker got out as well. That was their decision. (according to what Iv’e been told/my interactions with them)

Peach Momoko's Ultimate X-Men run ending is almost like our generation's version of Chris Claremont leaving the X-Men Her run, and how it amazingly reinvents the X-Men, will be remembered & discussed in the same vein for many, many years
